The Pure Vibes experience is therapeutic to the mind, body, and soul, helping to develop a sense of achievement in a fun environment. Our goal is to give that 'Pure Vibe' to every individual regardless of any disability. Pure Vibes was formed to pass on the most beautiful aspect of life to our exceptional children, the 'Mother Ocean'. Surfing, snorkeling, and other exciting ocean-related activities provide stimulation to all of the senses, challenging processing skills, muscle control, attention, coordination, and endurance. A skilled instructor guides the activity to provide a "just right" challenge which creates continuous opportunity for growth and achievement. One-on-one instruction is customized for all ages and disabilities including but not limited to children with Autism, PDD, Down's Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Hearing Impairment, Fragile X, Cerebral Palsy, seizure disorders, and others. Programs are individualized and use fun activities in a non-clinical setting to address goals in many areas, including but not limited to:

balance coordination strength endurance gross and fine motor control sensory integration language social skills

SPECIAL NEEDS SURF CAMP
Pure Vibes has just joined with ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services) to provide the first integrated social skills recreational surf camp for children with special needs.

All lessons are conducted by Richard Sutera who is a special educator certified by the American Red Cross in Infant, Child and Adult/AED First Aid and CPR. His 25 years of experience in the ocean and national reputation brings an inspired passionate look to the world of surfing.

All Therapeutic Surf Instruction, Snorkeling, and Water-Related Activities are conducted in Del Mar.

*All supplies included such as: wetsuits, boards, masks, arm wings, sun block, snorkel systems, whistles, etc.
